Fresno Media Restoration
About a week ago when the whole world was heading to a new year, one YouTube channel has suddenly uploaded some valuable live recordings captured in the late 70's.
世界が新年に向かっていた2019年大晦日、あるYouTubeチャンネルが70年代の貴重なライブ映像・音源をいくつか同時に公開しました。
The channel, Fresno Media Restoration is obviously working on restoring past live recordings of some classic rock acts like KISS, Ted Nugent & David Bowie etc.
「フレズノ・メディア・レストレーション」というチャンネルで、キッス、テッド・ニュージェント、デヴィッド・ボウイ等の過去映像・音源が公開されています。
Then I found the name of Aerosmith among them and the video (above) turned out to be fantastic.
その中に我が青春「エアロスミス」の名前もあったのですが、これ↑がなかなか良かった！
Witness says...
Though some parts are lost, but still good enough to feel the vibe of their infamous "drug-driven" days.
途中欠けている部分もあるのですが、当時「ドラッグで稼働しているバンド」として悪名を馳せたエアロの雰囲気が伝わってきます。
One comment I found on the video page made me laugh and well explains Boston boys attitude back in the day.

Aerosmiths set was ungodly loud. The mix was brutal.
この日、エアロのステージは神をも恐れぬ音量で会場のミックスは酷かった。
I remember the zipper of my jeans actually vibrating from the bass guitar and kick drum, then my ears rang for 4 days afterwards. Not exaggerating.
ベースとバスドラの振動で、オレが履いていたジーンズのジッパーが揺れていたのを覚えているよ。話を盛らずに、マジであの後４日間耳鳴りが続いた。
The crowd loved AC/DC till Angus mooned the crowd - I'll never forget the shock of his lily-white cheeks.
オーディエンスは前座のAC/DCをすごく気に入っていたよ。アンガスがケツを出すまではな。ヤツの真っ白なケツの衝撃ときたら…一生忘れないだろうな。
It was obvious by the end of the show that one band was rising and another crashing - all in real time.
ライブの終わりには明らかだったよ、あるバンドが頭角を現し、もう一つのバンドが転がり落ちて行った。まさにそれが同時に起こった夜だった。
I called them Aeroshit for a few years.
オレはそれから数年間、このバンドのことを「エアロシット（＝クソエアロ）」と呼び続けたよ。

いかがだったでしょうか？
ドラッグによりバンドが完全に機能不全に陥っていた、と言われている時代ですが、個人的には「思っていたほど酷くはない」かな、と（笑）
でも、一時期のガンズ同様、出来不出来にすごくムラがあったんでしょうね。
ステージ上では、ジョーがスティーヴンの邪魔をするために、いつもアンプのボリュームをフルにしていたとかいう話もありましたしね…笑
